Hey guys!
Just popping in to share an AWESOME website I stumbled upon while on Pintrest.
What do candles and rings have in common? Nothing, until now...
DiamondCandles.com is a website where you can order all natural soy candles for $24.95 (+S/T), but with an added twist. Each candle contains a ring inside at the bottom of the wax valued anywhere between $10 and $1,000. This is genius because what girl wouldn't love having a nice smelling apartment and then getting a nice ring too? Uhh, none that I know of! Plus, this would possibly be the cheapest way to propose to your lady, because if she didn't get a super nice ring, that's okay, buy another candle and cross your fingers! These candles come in various scents, from freshly cut grass to pecan pie, so they're sure to make you want to buy a few.
However, you might be wondering how they put a possibly expensive ring without ruining the it completely. The ring is in a plastic bag and then wrapped in a gold foil until you reveal which one you have. These are literally like the grown-up version of Kinder eggs, which are outlawed in the U.S.
Well, I just thought I'd share, I'm going to order one soon!

Just Piles and Piles of Clothing...
Hey guys!
Today I want to bring up the subject of senior pictures. Yes, you read that right, senior pictures. For those of you who don't know what those are, they're pictures. (well duh.) But anyways, you have them taken before your senior year so you can send out invites to the big day and have your face plastered everywhere, and I mean everywhere. In the school hallway, at your graduation party, above the fireplace in your house, and even hundreds of miles away on your friends' refidgerators. Did you know you can get life sized cardboard cutouts, napkins, plates, balloons, M&M's and stuff like that with your picture on it? Which would be weird (for me anyways) because I'd be at my party right, but there would be too much of me...it would literally be like cloning myself and forcing everyone to look at me/my picture. I can just imagine my brother saying this: "Look Sam, I'm eating you! Does it make me a cannibal?" (*shudders*)
Back to the topic, you might be wondering why I'm thinking of senior pictures now when i'm still a junior for 5 more weeks. Well, unlike most kids my age I like to be prepared, I hate doing stuff at the last moment, and I would also like to save some money. Most photographers mark up their prices for sitting fees after fall, and then charge you out the butt for proofs too. So i'm trying to get some cute outfits together for my pictures without spending a whole bunch of money on that too. THANK GOODNESS FOR SALES!
If anybody knows a good way to save money, share it in the comments below!

Friday, April 5
The best time to wear a striped sweater, is all the time.
Hey guys!
Do you know what today is? It's Friday, and do you know what that means?! I am one day closer to being a senior and moving on with my life! *blows a kazoo* With this being said, I would just like to give a hint about what the upcoming blog is going to be like....ENJOY
*insert awesome title name here*
The first day of actual school. You're not in elementary school where mom takes your picture on the first day and wipes your face with her spit and not in middle school where mom makes sure you get to the bus stop and then waves, but high school. Parties and popularity contests are the norm and where getting a ride with friends means you're super cool. Well, that's how it's portrayed in movies...I like to imagine that i'll be that kid, but i'm new in town and I don't know anyone, so walking to school is my only "cool, totally not dependent on my parents" option.
More to come this summer!!! (:
