I love these...

Hey guys!

Just popping in to share an AWESOME website I stumbled upon while on Pintrest.

What do candles and rings have in common? Nothing, until now...

DiamondCandles.com is a website where you can order all natural soy candles for $24.95 (+S/T), but with an added twist. Each candle contains a ring inside at the bottom of the wax valued anywhere between $10 and $1,000. This is genius because what girl wouldn't love having a nice smelling apartment and then getting a nice ring too? Uhh, none that I know of! Plus, this would possibly be the cheapest way to propose to your lady, because if she didn't get a super nice ring, that's okay, buy another candle and cross your fingers! These candles come in various scents, from freshly cut grass to pecan pie, so they're sure to make you want to buy a few.

However, you might be wondering how they put a possibly expensive ring without ruining the it completely. The ring is in a plastic bag and then wrapped in a gold foil until you reveal which one you have. These are literally like the grown-up version of Kinder eggs, which are outlawed in the U.S.

Well, I just thought I'd share, I'm going to order one soon!

Just Piles and Piles of Clothing...

Hey guys!

Today I want to bring up the subject of senior pictures. Yes, you read that right, senior pictures. For those of you who don't know what those are, they're pictures. (well duh.) But anyways, you have them taken before your senior year so you can send out invites to the big day and have your face plastered everywhere, and I mean everywhere. In the school hallway, at your graduation party, above the fireplace in your house, and even hundreds of miles away on your friends' refidgerators. Did you know you can get life sized cardboard cutouts, napkins, plates, balloons, M&M's and stuff like that with your picture on it? Which would be weird (for me anyways) because I'd be at my party right, but there would be too much of me...it would literally be like cloning myself and forcing everyone to look at me/my picture. I can just imagine my brother saying this: "Look Sam, I'm eating you! Does it make me a cannibal?" (*shudders*)

Back to the topic, you might be wondering why I'm thinking of senior pictures now when i'm still a junior for 5 more weeks. Well, unlike most kids my age I like to be prepared, I hate doing stuff at the last moment, and I would also like to save some money. Most photographers mark up their prices for sitting fees after fall, and then charge you out the butt for proofs too. So i'm trying to get some cute outfits together for my pictures without spending a whole bunch of money on that too. THANK GOODNESS FOR SALES!

If anybody knows a good way to save money, share it in the comments below!

Friday, April 5

The best time to wear a striped sweater, is all the time.

Hey guys!

Do you know what today is? It's Friday, and do you know what that means?! I am one day closer to being a senior and moving on with my life! *blows a kazoo* With this being said, I would just like to give a hint about what the upcoming blog is going to be like....ENJOY

*insert awesome title name here*

The first day of actual school. You're not in elementary school where mom takes your picture on the first day and wipes your face with her spit and not in middle school where mom makes sure you get to the bus stop and then waves, but high school. Parties and popularity contests are the norm and where getting a ride with friends means you're super cool. Well, that's how it's portrayed in movies...I like to imagine that i'll be that kid, but i'm new in town and I don't know anyone, so walking to school is my only "cool, totally not dependent on my parents" option.

More to come this summer!!! (:

"This is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world."

Hey guys!

I feel like I should take this post and refect on the horribly, hilarious things that happened this past year. I have a lot of time and stories so it might take a while to read, but enjoy! Uhm, if you happen to be a guy reading this, just stop or skip #1. You could also find a more manly blog and read that one 'cause this one is gonna get intense!

1. The Bra Story

School was a week away and just like any other year I had put off going clothes shopping, mostly because I was broke, but also because I was not looking forward to it. Well I figured I could get socks and a bra at walmart. Notice how I said "bra," and not "bras." I found my favorite socks, no biggie so I head straight to that one part of Walmart and low and behold I find my size, which was shocking because they're always sold out!! I had my own cart, so I grabbed like 7 to try on. I get over to the dressing rooms and the lady is on the phone, so I smile at her to seem polite and patient, then she mouths to me, "how many?" Being in a fantastic mood I hold up my cherished treasures and my other hand signals that I have five. Out of the corner of my eye I see one of the most popular (might I add suuuuper hot?!) guys at my school walking towards me, looking at me (more specifically my bras..) with disgust. My jaw and hands dropped instantly! I could feel the blood rushing to my face and getting hot. Did that really just happen?! Yup. He passed right by me and kept eye contact the whole time! By then the lady had hung up the phone and was giggling at me, and I felt like crawling in a hole and hibernating forever. Everytime I see popular guy, he just smiles and walks away. Its like our little huge secret.

2. A Minnesota Gas Station

Recently I went to New York because my grandpa passed away, we stayed for two weeks and then decided to head home. Well, going from Montana to New York straight through was a 40 hour drive, with no showers and too many bathroom breaks. On the way back, Dad decided that we weren't stopping to stay the night until we hit North Dakota (Why we just didn't stay in like Wisconsin or something, I don't know.) We had made most of the journey when we stopped at a gas station in Minnesota at about 10 a.m. I had to go to the bathroom, and so did my siblings so I begrudgingly took them in. No makeup, no shower for a day and a half, and my hair looked bleh. Overall I didn't look appealing. I opened the door and there must have been about 20 plus guys standing there waiting to pay for their stuff. They were all buff and really tan, and I couldn'f figure out why so I peeked out the window on the way to the bathroom and there was a bus that said "blah blah blah WRESTLING TEAM.." I don't think I smelled any worse then they might have after a meet, but still embarassing. Oh good gold glitter..I always have the worst luck in front of guys.

3. Prom Punch

It was the night of prom, grand march had just ended. For those of you who don't know, grand march is where the dj announces all the couples names and then you walk in front or sometimes through the crowd and have tons of pictures taken. You almost feel like you're famous because by the end of it, all the flashes from cameras have you blind. Anyways, King and Queen were crowned and my date's mom wanted one more picture of us before she had to leave. I was talking to my own parents when I found out, so I walked towards her, and this kid turns around and spills green, frothy punch down my white dress.

Me in my dress before green gunk got spilled all over it. Luckily, It came out after I had it dry cleaned, but it was totally awesome smelling like lime jello and looking like somebody barfed all over me the entire night.

4. Meatball Madness
As some of you may know, I have a job...one that involves canned, prepackaged, and frozen food. Yum! (i'm totally not being serious in case you didn't know that either.) Well, it was closing time and we had ran out of meatballs in the kitchen so I went in the back to get more to restock for the next day. After searching the walk-in freezer (26 degrees) for a good 5 minutes I finally found them. Not in the walk-in freezer, but in one of the other standup ones. I didn't think twice when I saw that one of the bags was opened because I honestly got so excited about finding the meatballs! I sprinted into the kitchen with a bag of meatballs in each hand. I proudly held them up over my head like American flags, signifying that I was free from suffering the cold of the walk-in freezer! My brain must've forgotten that my coworker had just mopped the floor and as I turned the corner I slipped...
I threw the bags to help support myself and I fell, of course, and landed on my butt, but I had just enough time to look up. Meatballs were coming out of the bag, raining down on me and the clean floor. They pelted the floor with thumps, most of them crumbling or breaking in half. Guess who had hands that smelled like meat after work? This girl.

This is NOT how my face looked when I had to clean all those things up AND remop the floor...

I have more funny stories, but i'm a little short on time so i'll post um' later! Maybe on a rainy day (:

What am I supposed to be doing? Not this.

Hey guys!

I just remembered that I have a blog...and I've really neglected it these past few months! Working on the new blog is tough because I want people to try and see it through my eyes, but my comparisons to certain objects and other things is horrible. They're literally like a multiple choice analogy where I pick the stupidest one. An example:

Whale is to ocean as cat is to:
a) house
b) casket
c) book
d) all of the above

Obviously the correct answer is A, but I pick D. Mostly because cats are mysterious creatures who plot humans deaths (caskets) while living with the humans..in a house, which is where books can be found. Haha (: I've been reading the Oatmeal lately..thus my failing humor.

So, back to remembering this..I remembered I had this blog 'cause i'm totally slacking off in mythology. I'm supposed to be writing this long ass paper about archetypes but they say the older you are the wiser you are. So, technically by sitting here i'm becoming older, therefore wiser, and writing the paper later would be much easier than now...at least I hope so :3

Instead of writing a long paper about crap i'll never remember in 6 months, i'm:
jamming out to youtube (The server at school loves me today!! Pop goes Punk all the way (:  )
Sparknoting the Iliad (I never really read the last part and let's be serious, I don't think I ever could considering none of these stories are true) and reading the Oatmeal cause it's super awesome! Thanks West for showing me another site to procrastinate on, you brought that on yourself!

Welp kiddos. Time to leave this retched hellhole and head home.
Peace and Love <3

Long time, No Blog.

hey guys! (:
sorry I haven't wrote in a while, its just I've been thinking a lot lately about starting a new and better blog. While this one will still be my first, and my "baby," I want to branch out towards a different goal. I can't tell you what I want to write about because, well, its complicated. I have teachers parents and peers that read this and they may or may not find it amusing if I wrote about what I wanted to write about. Therefore, I will be starting an anonymous blog starting the summer of 2013. Its going to sort of be my prequel to my actual new blog which will follow along in fall of 2013. I know this might be confusing, but it wont be for long. (: i promise. I really want to tell you guys what its about, but if I do id have to delete this blog (which I wouldnt mind, but I've worked too damn hard..) :( I need to stop rambling like a cow. So au revoir (:

Saturday, December 1

It's December!

hey guys!

You know what today is right? December 1st! Do you know what that means?! ABC Family's countdown to the 25 days of Christmas! :D Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, they still play some awesome movies. Tonight it's Elf and I'll be watching from my living room with a bowl of homemade chicki-noodle soup. (: I swear I know every quote from that movie and my favorite one is where Will Ferrell says, "You sit on a throne of lies!" I laugh for about 3 minutes straight everytime... xD What's your favorite Christmas/holiday movie? Leave it in the comments below and you'll get a shoutout in my next post. (:

Hold your breath, and count to ten..

hey guys!

So have any of you heard the new Adele song, Skyfall? If you haven't go check it out. Like it literally is amazing, and I'm not just saying that because I like...LOVE her! The song has a very vintage 60s feel, and if a song can make me feel as if I'm in that time period, then wow. Just WOW. It's got my Grammy nomination if I could nominate people for that type of thing. (: I think I must have played it 20+ times today and sang it too at practice. (Which has finally started! Wooo!) It's like candy for my ears... xD Is that too far? I don't think so...I could keep ranting and raving but I have to go read for my English class. -.-  Don't get me wrong, I love to read, but only when the book appeals to me and Siddhartha isn't cutting it so far. Whatever, apparently I can't graduate if I don't take this class so I better pass. Below should be the link to Skyfall..Enjoy my lovely viewers (:

Crazy People=Crazy World

Hey guys!

I just thought i'd post a little update as to how i'm doing. I got home last night at around 6 and relaxed until bedtime. I never thought traveling for so long could be so tiring, but it is. I also never realized how amazing coming home to my own bed really is! Being away from everything you know for two weeks is difficult and a little odd. Nobody's house will ever smell quite the same as your own, the sheets on the beds aren't as soft, and I highly doubt that anybody could cook better than what I was raised on! (:

Enough about that, I had some interesting adventures in New York, like almost getting shot and being asked if I like my french fries salty or not. Haha it's a really long story that I'll tell some other time because i'm running out of time. It seems like I always am running out of time...somebody has to make a time machine or something cause I know the world could use a few extra moments to relive. Well, that's about it. I really miss the East coast and all the nice people I met, but I'm home. (:

Friday, November 23

The car ride home...

Let me paint this picture for you...6 people crammed into a minivan. No room for my little legs, the trunk so full I can't see out the back window and me shoved in between Madi and Colton. It seems like we have more stuff than we originally did before. Oh wait, we do. One person takes their shoes off and the whole car smells like goat cheese and onions. I used to like onions, but now I'm not so sure... Mom says I'll miss family road trips when I leave for college, but I doubt it. I will not miss being stuck in the middle of two kids who fight constantly, I won't miss being cramped and I especially won't miss having to stop every hour because somebody has to use the bathroom. I won't miss the onion feet smell either. We're only in Ohio and I'm going nuts!

*later...*

Colton thinks its hot in here, so he took off his shirt. Guess who isn't wearing deodorant? That guy! 2 seconds later.."ewwww! who smells?!" Only 895 miles until I'm home now...Indiana is super weird. They don't have any towns to really pull off of, they have these things called travel stations. Travel stations are like a rest area but with one building containing 3-4 little restaurants and the standard bathroom. They're actually pretty cool (: cause then you only have to stop once to eat and do your thing!

hopefully Chicago comes soon. I like to see the lights <3

No MORE POTTERMORE! ):

)':  guess what guys? I was playing Pottermore all day today, and I finally finished Book 2! As I went to move on, the computer wouldn't let me, so I googled. I even made a second account because I thought mine was being funny. I came to find out that Pottermore hasn't even released Book 3 yet because they just finished/released the last chapters of book 2 on HALLOWEEN! :O  So now, I have to wait like a gajillion years before all the dang books are finished. I am having withdrawls...I need to collect some Bertie Botts beans or Galleons or something! Hmm...maybe i'll just have my cousins hide a bunch of jelly beans so I can find them... (:  or maybe i'll start playing on my second account and blog about how to get house points! <----BETTER IDEA! Gosh I'm so smart :D Well, it's suppertime, mom made turkey bean soup (uhh, YUM!) so i'm gonna skedaddle. Later guys!

Add me on Pottermore!!: QueenPurple7407 or ProphecyErised5159

That's alot of movies, and i've seen more (: When I think about it, that's at least 2 weeks of my life spent watching movies...WOW. Tonight I get to go see Breaking Dawn Part 2 with my grandmas friend and her daughter (who my brother has a crush on and he's only said hi to her like, twice.) But whatever! I'm so excited!!! New York has been pretty awesome this last week, except for losing grandpa, but life goes on. I'll have to post pics of my journey to NY and back to Montana next week, only because I won't be home until this Sunday. Well, my fellow fans, I love you all and thanks for the 319 views you've given me <3

Traveling...Almost like National Lampoons Family Vacation

Hey guys!

So we just got out of Chicago and long story short, OMG! So much traffic!! I took pics, but some aren't very good but oh well, I'll show them anyways... We pulled in right by O'Hare International and a plane flew right over us..it was so cool! I saw the Morton Salt Company, lots of skyscrapers and very large sculptures along they way too, but we were moving too fast and by the time I got my phone unlocked, we had already passed whatever I wanted to take a picture of. :( hopefully I can get more on the way back home! I'm in Indiana right now and boy..it's busy...tons of semis. We aren't going to make it into Buffalo until around 3 a.m. so look for more posts if I get bored..

<3Samantha

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

so it's like 3 in the morning and I'm eating Rolos while looking at tattoos and listening to Luke Bryan when I come across this saying by Shakespeare...

That's it. I read it and it was a done deal...this is my future tat! Because honestly, it suits me. I am tiny and people get the impression that they can walk all over me and its like uhh no! I don't think so! I am fierce...so fierce Beyonce would be jealous! Okay maybe that's just the sleep deprivation talking but who cares I am going to own it (:  Now I just need to find a place to put it
...either my wrist, foot or collarbone. I was so excited I thought id share that with you! (:

now I will try to sleep cause dads driving and the roads are good so I trust him. I love the interstate..I miss it a lot! It's so much faster than what im used to now., which is taking dinky highway 2! But I digress, it still gets me from point a to point b so I guess its not horrible until you factor in all the oil trucks..whatever. I'm tired and ranting and raving.

New York? Uhh...WHAT?!

hey guys,
The last 2 days have been a whirlwind of emotions as my grandpa had a stroke and doctors have said he isn't going to make it. He's on life support as I write this and my grandma is waiting for us before she signs to take him off life support. :( So the family (more like the Ark) is going to New York to say goodbye and whatnot. I didn't even feel like writing this but I guess it's okay to talk it about it and lay it all out on the table. It's so hard to know someone you love is dying, but its even harder knowing you have to let them go. I cried all day today and I'm about to start crying now...mom says its okay to cry, but I hate crying. My eyes get puffy and red, my nose runs like an Olympic runner and I shake more than an earthquake.
I've already decided I'm getting a tattoo eventually but I don't know what of. Something so I always have a little piece of him with me everywhere I go..Im thinking an anchor or bird. Something that represents strength..I dunno yet.
My grandpa was a strong man, he had 3 kidney transplants and raised my dad and uncle, which probably wasn't an easy job if you see how my dad and uncle act... They have burping and farting wars, talk about cars, guns and other stuff that's just dumb. My grandpa also married my grandma, and I gotta tell you, she's a peach somedays but others she isn't...I don't know how he put up with her, but he did, and they always made it work.
Grandpa wasn't always the nicest, but that was mostly because he was always in the hospital for dialysis and on meds, but he still loved and was loved. It feels like there's an empty place in my heart now. No more birthday cards signed "love pop-pop Butler," and no more phone calls from that energetic voice saying "Hey Sammy!" They say only the good die young and its true, because my grandpa was only 52.
Sorry if I made anyone sad from reading that, I teared up a lot but yeah. I just needed to throw this out there. I don't usually like to talk about how I feel, I like to write it out. I guess I don't have much more to say except that its going to be a long ride to New York, shoved in a mini van with 2 whiny kids who have small bladders and loud mouths.... a.k.a my siblings whom I love very much, just not right now.
I'll try and post pics of the cities and other things when I go through the states. I haven't been to the east coast in 7 years so it's a little exciting knowing I get to go through Chicago and Minneapolis again. (: Ah well..that's about it, people are texting me left and right so I'm must go now.

My Cat!

Hey guys,

Today I want to talk about my cat. Now I know how odd this sounds, but if you've read my blog before you'll know that I've mentioned her a couple times and I think i'll miss her more than anything when I go off to college!
Her name is Tigger (: She lays with this stuffed polar bear every night..

You may be thinking, "Well why is she better than any other cat?"  Because she's mine, i've raised her and she's suuuuuuper smart! Now when I say raised her I don't mean she was a baby kitten when I found her. I had another cat, Angus, who I got after my mom's friend found him hiding in a car's tailpipe in the dead of winter. He later lost half his tail to frostbite, but he was still a happy cat. Anywho, Angus loved to be outside all the time, except for when he needed to eat or when it was winter. He would only eat canned food and if we didn't have that he would only eat the brown and red pieces from kibble food...he would spit the green ones out and leave them in a nice little pile.

He liked to hunt. For awhile we didnt have any birds come around our yard because he killed all of them as soon as he saw them..and then he'd bring them to me, drop them by my feet and rub up against my legs. Well winter came around, and Angus had started to come and go as he pleased and I couldn't figure out why. He never used to like the snow, but I soon realized why he kept wanting to go out. I went to let Angus in for the night and I saw her, she was sitting in the box, shiverring. She was a skinny thing with crusty looking eyes. She had one pointy ear, the other rounded and I liked her immediately! **We have this entryway with a screendoor that we propped open for Angus in case we forgot to let him back in after letting him out. We had 5 or 6 blankets placed around a middle-sized cardboard box out there with food and water and a heat lamp.  He had made a friend and brought her (Tigger) to come get food. She was a feral cat, who I don't think had ever been touched or fed by a human. Once she saw me she ran out of the entryway and back outside. I started putting more food out incase she came back, and every night the food was gone. I know Angus didn't eat it because I'd let him in and he would go dig into his food inside, leaving the green kibble behind.

Soon she didn't run away when I would feed her and sometimes even let me pet her. (: Eventually she came around and came inside all the time. But even then she stuck by myside like glue at all times and followed me everywhere. To my room, in the kitchen, even when I'd be in the bathroom getting ready in the morning she would be up on the counter, her eyes closed just taking it all in. Just a snuggley little thing. (: She's still that way today.

Angus and her were best friends, they hunted together, played together, and watched tv together. No joke, whenever spongebob came on they ran out to the living room, like actual humans, sat on the top of the couches, just staring at the tv. One day this past April, Angus didn't come home at night. The next morning, still no sign of him. He never came home. Mom thinks somebody took him, and I think he got eaten by a mountain lion or bit by a rattlesnake and died. :( Either way it was still sad! So now it's just Tigger.

People are amazed when they come to my house, see a cat, but don't see a litter box. They always ask, "Don't you have a litterbox?" To which I reply, "Nope. My cat is potty trained!" I wish I had a camera to take a picture of people's faces when I tell them that...haha. Seriously, Tigger is potty-trained. When she needs to go to the bathroom, she goes to the door and meows (she never used to meow, so Caleb taught her how), let her our and give her 5 minutes, after that, open the door and she's sitting there waiting, just like a dog. I can't even begin to descibe my cat in under 700 words. She lays with me and her polar bear everynight, she's potty trained, and she's cute. (: What could be better in a cat? Nothing.
